Grane is a reaction speed training game that turns your reflexes into a competitive sport. You can choose your preferred difficulty level, face moving targets, tap to stop targets on the mark, customize targets with your personal photos, and chase perfect performance ratings.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your personal information when you use the Grane game, mobile application, and related services. By using Grane, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to deliver, optimize and improve your Grane gaming experience:

• Account Information (Optional): If you choose to create a cross-device account, we collect your chosen username, email address and encrypted password. You can use Grane fully offline without creating an account.
• Gameplay Data: We collect your gameplay metrics including chosen difficulty levels, reaction time records, tap accuracy, level completion status, performance ratings, and achievement unlock history to track your progress and personalize your training recommendations.
• User-Uploaded Custom Content: When you upload personal photos to customize your in-game targets, these files are stored locally on your device by default. If you opt in to cross-device sync, we will store encrypted copies of your custom photos on our servers only to sync across your logged-in devices.
• Device & Technical Information: We collect non-identifiable device information including device model, operating system version, app version, and crash logs to optimize game performance and fix technical issues.
• Anonymous Usage Analytics: We collect aggregated, anonymized data about how users interact with Grane features to identify improvement opportunities for future updates.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver core game functionality: store your gameplay progress, load your custom target photos, sync your data across devices (if enabled), and calculate your performance ratings.
• Personalize your experience: recommend appropriate difficulty levels based on your past performance, and surface relevant training challenges to help you improve your reaction speed.
• Improve our service: fix bugs, optimize game performance, develop new features, and adjust difficulty balancing based on anonymized gameplay data.
• Communicate with you: send important service updates, security notifications, or respond to inquiries you submit to our support team.
• Prevent abuse: detect and block cheating, fraud, or other activities that violate our terms of service and harm the experience of other Grane users.

4. Information Sharing

• With your explicit consent: We will only share your information if you explicitly ask us to or approve the sharing for a specific feature (e.g. sharing your performance rating to external social platforms).

All service providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from using your data for any unrelated purposes.

5. Your Control & Rights

You retain full control over your personal information when using Grane:

• Access and export: You can view and download all your personal gameplay data and account information directly from the app settings at any time.
• Edit and delete: You can update your account information, delete individual custom target photos, clear your gameplay history, or permanently delete your entire account through the app settings. When you delete your account, all associated data stored on our servers will be permanently erased within 30 days.
• Adjust permissions: You can toggle permissions for storage access, sync functionality, and analytics collection at any time through your device settings or app preferences.
• Withdraw consent: You can withdraw any consent you previously provided to us for data collection and use, subject to applicable legal and contractual restrictions.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction:

• All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol.
• Sensitive data including custom photos and account information stored on our servers is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
